2011 IXDDAThe focus of design concept has been changing from the interface to the interaction. This paradigm shift reflects the rapid evolution of relationship between digital technologies and human beings in the past few years. While the workspace gives place to the daily life context, and individual activities are replaced by the group coordination as the locale designed for, the system design aims now the emotional and sensual appeal instead of the cognitive and rational provision, and extends the emphasis on usability to a holistic user experience. Nevertheless, the interplay among human beings, the technology and the environment remains central to the interaction design.

For interactive experience design, the mission to understand users’ needs and to facilitate productive and satisfactory services through technologies has never been absent.Upholding the core mission of interactive experience design, this conference is committed to bring together all the researchers and practitioners of related fields, as well as to promote the digital content services and innovative application. With the “Interactive Experience Design” and the “Digital Content Application” as targeted areas.
